Earthworm Jim 1 & 2: The Whole Can 'O Worms

Earthworm Jim 1 & 2: The Whole Can 'O Worms

Shiny Entertainment, Activision, Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Interplay Entertainment, Takara

The bundle contains the two 2D-Shoot-and-runs featuring Earthworm Jim in his space suit. It has been release for Windows and Linux. A 25th anniversary Edition, limited to 2000 copies, has been released for SNES. Jim wasn't always a studly super-worm. He was once just a spineless, dirt-eater with no real mission in his life... But then something unexpected happened. The evil Psy-Crow was transporting a super suit, built by the genius Professor Monkey-For-A-Head, to Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed, Slug-For-A-Butt, but along the way it was stolen by a rebel. Although Psy-Crow killed the rebel, the suit fell down to Earth, landing on an Earth Worm. That cosmic twist of fate placed Jim in control of an ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. Anyway, Earthworm Jim found out that Princess What's-Her-Name had been captured and set out to save her. Meanwhile, there's a bounty on Jimmy and plenty of people are in line to take Queen Slug-For-A-Butt up on her offer. Now Jim must make it to the princess and stay clear of Psy-Crow, the intergalactic bounty hunter, until the final battle with Queen Slug-For-A-Butt. To accomplish this, you'll have to use every weapon and ability at your disposal to wriggle your way through dozens of original and just plain weird levels. Diverse levels and gameplay modes that provide an unmatched platforming experience Great music and amusing sound effects Loads of good humor and fun, often bordering on the disturbing

Cool, that is, until a bogus bunch of neanderthal nerds crashed their village and scared off all the cave-babes. Now the cave-babes are out there - SOMEWHERE, lost and reeeeally lonely… so what are you waitin’ for? It’s up to Joe and Mac to get ‘em back. * Fight flying pterodactyls in one or two-player simultaneous play. * 12 cliff-hangin’ levels with more than 6 bonus levels to find… * Amazing arcade graphics will keep you clubbin’ to find your babes… * Joe & Mac’s pre-hysterical escapades will keep you comin’ back for more!

Penny Racers

Locomotive Corporation, Takara, THQ

The premise of PENNY RACERS for N64 is simple: race your car the best you can and be among the top three to reach the checkered flag. To achieve this objective, you must avoid missiles launched by your competitors, among other things. One way to counter this is the barrel roll maneuver, which is a quick and effective way to avoid unexpected hurdles on the tracks. In the beginning, you drive a pretty unimpressive racer. However, if you beat the competition and place in the top three, your reward is the chance to upgrade your car. Be merciless and steal the losing racers' special features, such as engine and armor upgrades, special attack abilities, and enhancing cosmetic features for the car. You have 13 different racer body styles and nine tracks to choose from. The cartoony racers zip through city streets, ice caves, and a volcano, and with the Track Create mode, you can design the wildest track you can imagine. When you toss four-player racing into the fray, the fun quadruples as the action intensifies and the losers are utterly humiliated.
