There are four game modes, "Classic", "Warp", "Turbo Classic", and "Turbo Warp". Classic is the standard game mode. Saving all of your friends and wiping out all the monsters is the main goal of this mode. The goal of Warp Mode is to collect as many Time Diamonds as possible, however, if you get hit by a enemy, you will be warped to the next level. Turbo Classic is the same as Classic mode, with the addition of super speed, huge amount of attacks, and unlimited lives. Turbo Warp is the same Warp, with the addition of super speed.

Fate/Extra

Fate/Extra

TYPE-MOON, Imageepoch, Ghostlight Ltd., Marvelous Entertainment, Aksys Games

Fate/Extra is a dungeon crawl style Japanese role-playing game. The game takes place in a parallel universe to the visual novel Fate/stay night. At the start of the game, the player may choose to play as either a male or female character, as well as selecting one of three Servants — Saber, Archer, or Caster, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Players spend one ingame "week" interacting with other characters, viewing scenes that advance the game's story, talking to their Servant in their room, and gathering clues to the identity of the enemy Servant. At the end of each day, they enter the Arena, a dungeon in which they can battle monsters to gain experience points and strengthen their Servant. The game's turn-based battle system is comparable to rock-paper-scissors -- "Attack" overpowers "Break", Break overpowers "Guard", and Guard overpowers Attack. During battle, both the player and the opponent line up six such moves at the beginning of each turn.

Avalon Code

Avalon Code

Matrix Software, Marvelous Entertainment, Rising Star Games

Avalon Code plot, as well as the gameplay, revolves around the Book of Prophecy situated on the touch-sensitive lower screen of the Nintendo DS. In order to record a person, monster, plant, or weapon in its pages, the player performs a “Code Scan”, which is done by striking the target to be recorded with the Book itself (mapped to the B button at all times). The story centers on a young peasant who has been plagued with prophetic nightmares for weeks prior to the beginning of the story. His or her latest dream, shown in the opening cinematic, features a mysterious voice which reveals not only that the protagonist's world has undergone countless reincarnations in the past and is fated to continue the cycle of correction, destruction, and rebirth until “true enlightenment” is achieved, but also that the main character him- or herself has been tasked by the Powers-That-Be to deem the people, places, and things of the current world worthy (or unworthy) of being carried over into the next after the fiery purge.

Featuring hand-drawn 2D art reflecting the heritage and tone of the storyline, Muramasa: The Demon Blade transports players into a little known mythology, envisioned by the creators of the critically acclaimed Odin Sphere. Players take on the role of a male ninja or female kunoichi, utilizing their ninja prowess to traverse the clever side-scrolling levels that feature vertical progression as well as the traditional horizontal stage advancement.
