Bing Bing! Bingo

Bing Bing! Bingo

Copya System, KSS

The basic concept of Bing Bing! Bingo is that the player is on a vacation to a private island somewhere in the world that is known for their Bingo-oriented lifestyle. He can either play Bingo through a slot machine, while skydiving, aplay a game of Bingo with Santa Claus, and an option to play Bingo on a pirate ship. There is also arm wrestling and a mode where players get to make imaginary wagers on the horses in case the player does not like Bingo. However, the numbers are announced in Japanese rather than English, so knowledge of Japanese numbers is vital for multiplayer action. Full card Bingo is mandatory for single player games but party games can use any variation of Bingo that the players consent to. A party mode is present for two players.

Surf Riders

Surf Riders

SUNSOFT, KSS, Ubi Soft Entertainment, GungHo Online Entertainment

Surf Riders features two modes including the Free Play and World Challenge Cup. In the Free Play mode, you can practice skills without a time limit; this will give novice players ample time to learn control layouts and combinations. The World Challenge Cup mode is for all the marbles -- the championship. A round in this mode consists of three heats: the qualifying, semifinal and final. Each heat has four computer-controlled competitors. You must place either first or second in order to advance to the next heat. In addition to supporting the Dual Shock Analog Controller for analog controls and vibration, Surf Riders uses a memory card to save game progress. Additionally, it features a soundtrack composed of surf-rock bands including Los Straitjackets, The Aquamen and Pollo Del Mar.

Mujintou Monogatari 4

Mujintou Monogatari 4

Mediamuse, KSS

Mujintou Monogatari 4 is a "survival life simulation" game and is essentially a retelling of the first game. A plane crashes into the sea, but a child survives and wakes up on a seemingly deserted island. The child finds another survivor and a cabin with a few basic supplies. After watching the lengthy intro, the player is given both heroes to manage. Water, food, light sources and materials have to be gathered and new tools can be crafted, provided the characters have all the necessary materials and knowledge. Compared to the original game, Mujintou Monogatari 4 changes the gameplay to make it more of an Action RPG, with players having to control the characters using a mouse and double-clicking on an item or enemy to gather or attack it. Players can find other survivors and have control of 3 unique pairs of characters which can explore various areas of the island. Each character's statistics can change depending on the activities that players make them do.
