Moorhen 3: The Chicken Chase!

Moorhen 3: The Chicken Chase!

Phenomedia AG, Ubi Soft Entertainment

This really couldn't be any simpler; Moorhen features no complicated gameplay whatsoever. You just shoot things. The real skill though is in knowing just what to shoot and when to shoot it and where some targets reap sizeable rewards others will drain your score in no time at all. One addition to version three is the introduction of protected birds flying around with your intended targets which means that shooting now takes a little more thought than simply blasting into the sky. Other features remain intact and there are still items that need to be avoided such as balloons and various animals on the ground. As usual though you'll need to experiment to find out just what's worth hitting and what's not. One of the best parts of the Moorhen series has been the hidden bonuses and secrets but they've always been well concealed and you're more likely to discover them by accident rather than actually work them out. I won't spoil some of the goodies we've discovered in this version but Moorhuhn 2 featured spiders that could be spun around trees and the first edition had you shaking trees then shooting down ten leaves for a 100 point bonus. Finally the hi-score chart is still there as is the wonderful battery back up so you can prove that you did actually get a score over 50.

Sesame Street Sports

Sesame Street Sports

Realtime Associates, NewKidCo, Ubi Soft Entertainment

Good sportsmanship is the name of the game in this delightful series of sporting events. All of your favorite SESAME STREET characters are the competitors in these original contests, and winning (for once) is not the most important thing. Take the adorable athletes through six big time sporting events: Guide Grover through a unicycle race, lead Elmo into a roller skating contest, and push Ernie past the rapids in his own bathtub. Big Bird is along to conduct all of the post-game interviews, putting the emphasis of the events squarely on fun and fair play rather than heated competition. The game's controls are easy top learn allowing little gamers to get the hang of things quickly and an in-game tutorial teaches the ins and outs of each wacky sport. The excellent graphics and familiar faces make the game look and feel just like an episode of the classic kids' show. Hand-held sports have never been so fun!

Toonsylvania

RFX Interactive, Ubi Soft Entertainment

Having grown tired of being a mad scientist's assistant, Igor creates four inventions: the diving suit, the helmet lamp, the propeller helmet, and the fireproof helmet. Wanting to test them, he has Phil (a gentle Frankenstein-type monster) put them all on. Unfortunately, the combination of all four inventions causes Phil to explode. You must guide Igor through 15 levels as he searches for all of Phil's parts, as well as all four of his inventions to complete the quest. However, getting through the levels is no walk in the park, as enemies lurk behind every corner. Fortunately, there are plenty of weapons to collect and throw at them. Will Igor be able to restore Phil before the mad scientist comes home? Find the answer by playing TOONSYLVANIA for the Game Boy Color

Comanche 2

Comanche 2

NovaLogic, Ubi Soft Entertainment

Comanche 2 is a helicopter combat simulator that builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, Comanche: Maximum Overkill. Players once again pilot the RAH-66 Comanche attack helicopter through various combat missions. The game retains NovaLogic's Voxel engine, likely with improvements to terrain rendering and object detail. Comanche 2 probably introduces new mission types, environments, and enemy challenges while refining the flight model and combat mechanics. The game likely maintains the series' focus on accessible gameplay and intense action, balancing simulation elements with engaging combat scenarios. As a sequel, Comanche 2 aims to expand and enhance the helicopter combat experience, offering both new and returning players an improved version of the Comanche series' signature blend of advanced graphics and action-oriented helicopter warfare.
