In Gallop Racer 2004 (Also known as "Gallop Racer Lucky 7" in Japan, and "Gallop Racer 2" in Europe and Australia), high-resolution graphics, advanced racing, and a variety of new modes reach to a higher level in digital horse racing fun. Old favorites such as the betting system and the classic season mode will also be back in the new title. Features: Enhanced Revolution Mode. Players will now be able to experience the perfect ride using the "Ability" setting to create an enhanced revolution called the "Big Revolution". Dramatic graphics such as the screen breaking into a million pieces like a mirror will add to the player's rush once they achieve the "Big Revolution". Affinity of Ability System. A new breeding system that allows the player to produce a maximum of eight original horses at one time. Once created these horses can be used as either the player's ride of choice or used as a rival's horse. Increased Camera Angles. Allowing the player to see their horse from every angle during the race will keep their blood pumping. Season Mode. With over 17 characters battling it out for the title of top jockey, the season mode has never been hotter or more intense! New Stages. Various new stages such as competitions against rivals and negotiations with trainers help to create the complete horse racing experience. Improved Graphics. High-resolution textures, enhanced effects, and improved use of shadow and depth of color immerse have been included to make the game look more natural and realistic. More Tracks and Horses. Featuring over 4,000 new horses and 42 tracks.

Gallop Racer 2006, is the perennial update of the Gallop Racer series, with the standard gaming modes: Exhibition and Career, along with new modes such as Memorial Quest, where players can partake in over a 100 classic horse races from past years and Field of Legend, where players can test their created horses against actually horses from past years of horse racing. This entire setting is set in a theme park-style arena called Gallop Racing Square. Not only can players create their own horses, but they can also race classic and legendary horses from previous years in the history of horse racing. The gameplay is virtually the same as previous versions, pressing buttons at a certain point in time to urge the horse while racing, with several gauges to monitor such as the horses stamina, their position in the race as well as their mental condition. Players can also bet in races, with a true feel of betting simulation, figuring in weather conditions, the horses conditions as well as the horses stats.

Tecmo presents TRAPT for the PS2, a puzzle-based game that contains a number of horror elements in its interesting storyline. The game is a continuation of the KAGERO: Deception series that began on the Playstation, but players aren't required to play the original games to understand TRAPT. The storyline begins when Princess Allura is framed for killing her father. As she flees the castle, players learn her dark secret: she's possessed by a demon known as Fiend. Fiend allows Allura to set a number of different traps to kill people, giving Fiend souls to survive off of. As the storyline progresses, players learn more about Fiend and how he came to possess the princess. The gameplay in TRAPT is very unique. As Allura, players run around the room setting traps while avoiding enemies. Once up to nine traps are set, they can be activated once an enemy is near. The traps come in a number of different types, including floor traps like bombs, wall traps like spikes, and ceiling traps like metal balls. Once players understand the system, they can start laying out traps in a way that an enemy will be hit by several at once to create a combo. Of course, it isn't quite that simple: some enemies are immune to certain traps, and some rooms contain areas where traps can't be placed. TRAPT weaves together unique characters, horror elements, and a fun, different gameplay style to create a unique game that will provide hours of challenge.

Monster Rancher EVO introduces an evolution in monster breeding with an intricate character-driven story, a two-phase training system, three-on-three battles and the ability to raise multiple monsters at a time. Players will balance monster breeding with role-playing exploration as they join in the adventures of Julio, a young circus performer with dreams of becoming a champion monster breeder. Traveling with the circus to seven different towns, the player will meet new adventures and new friends who can help with training and breeding monsters. Keeping in tradition, Monster Rancher EVO features the series' unique media disc input system that creates monsters based on the CD, PlayStation 2 game, or DVD the player inserts into the PlayStation 2, this latest incarnation of Monster Rancher presents an evolution of the series.
