The Grinch

First, it was a beloved book, then it was an animated special, next it was a movie, and now Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS is a hand-held video game. You play both the Grinch and his faithful pooch, Max, in this creative adaptation. Much like the classic story, THE GRINCH takes place in the idyllic Whoville--where your aim is to cease the event called Christmas. You attempt to do so by wreaking havoc and solving challenging puzzles. The folks of Whoville will try to stop your efforts with love and happiness (blech!), so be on your toes if you hope to avoid them and effectively ruin the holiday. To make things a little easier, you can throw snowballs at the peacenik villagers to keep them at a distance. Each level will present new obstacles and challenges, and the Dr. Seuss world is faithfully translated to the video game format. Whether you're a genuine grouch or you're just in the mood for a great adventure, THE GRINCH is hilarious fun for everyone.

Getsu Fuuma Den

In the first years of the Demon Age, a horrible demon named "Dragon Master" was revived by his minions in hell. To protect the peace of the overworld, the two eldest Fuuma brothers fought the Dragon Master. Both were unable to defeat him and were killed, losing their legendary Wave Swords, also called Hadoukens. To avenge their deaths, the last of the Fuuma brothers vowed to slay the Dragon Master, and take back the Hadoukens. Getsu Fuuma Den is an action game with slight RPG elements. You travel through the overworld on pre-determined paths, which branch most of the time, leading you to shops, places where you can encounter other characters, and dungeons. Once you descend into a dungeon, you navigate your character on a platform, jumping and fighting enemies with your sword or other weapons. There are also a few first-person dungeons later in the game. In the dungeons you can collect money and then use it to buy weapons and other accessories on the overworld.

Biker Mice From Mars

Biker Mice From Mars is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System racing video game made in 1994 by Konami, based on the animated series of the same name. he object of the game is to take on the role of one of six racers, Throttle, Modo, or Vinnie, Lawrence Limburger, Dr. Karbunkle, and Grease Pit, in a series of motorcycle races, on different tracks that are displayed in isometric projection. After each lap, the player's missile pack is refilled used to knock off opponents. Also the player has a random bonus choice for additional cash, invulnerability, nitrous oxide acceleration or an encumbering earthquake. The winner gets the prize money and the losers have to start again. In between rounds, upgrades for engine, tires, food and weapons can be purchased from the Last Chance garage using the prize money.

Silent Scope: Bone Eater is the 6th game in the Silent Scope series, exclusively for Arcade. This game features a unique dual LCD display for graphics far away, and a screen in the scope to aim at targets. The player is picked up to ride on a helicopter to travel to new shoot sites while a mounted fan blows air in their face.

Parodius is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up developed and published by Konami. It is the home port of the arcade game Parodius Da! Shinwa kara Owarai e, a parody of the Gradius series. Players choose from a roster of characters and progress through stages filled with enemies, obstacles, and bosses. The game retains the series’ power-up system while adapting the visuals and performance for home consoles. It features a humorous tone, exaggerated designs, and references to other Konami titles.

This is mostly the parody of Gradius (Nemesis on some systems), with some flavor from other shoot-em-ups, like Twinbee. The series is available on numerous platforms. The game is a right-to-left scrolling shoot-em-up. You can choose from 4 different flying creatures, with different weapons. You must finish 7 stages, each having a boss at the end. You may start at either one, but must complete every level to advance to the final stage.

Life Force

Life Force is an action-packed shooter where there are six levels which alternate between side and vertical scrolling, each of them ending with a powerful guardian. Throughout the game, destroying certain enemies will release power ups which can be used to equip your ship with more powerful weapons, extra speed, and shields. Gameplay is for one player or two players simultaneously.

G.I. Joe

G.I. Joe is a third-person shooter released by Konami in 1992. It's a 4-player high-octane action game with gorgeous visuals. It stars Snake Eyes, Duke, Scarlett and Roadblock from the cartoon series.

Top Gun

Top Gun was released in 1987 for the PC, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) (with an equivalent version for Nintendo Vs. Series arcade cabinets). The Commodore and Spectrum versions were developed by Ocean while Thunder Mountain handled the PC version of the game. Konami developed the Nintendo version. The NES version was released on November 1987 in North America, December 11, 1987 in Japan and on November 30, 1988 in Europe and Australia. According to Game Over by David Sheff, the NES version sold over 2 million copies. Many of the people who've played the NES version have complained about the difficulty, and lack of action in the game. The NES version had a sequel called Top Gun: The Second Mission.
