All-Star Baseball 2003

All-Star Baseball 2003

Acclaim Studios Austin, Acclaim Entertainment

The All-Star Baseball baseball video game series was developed and published by Acclaim Entertainment. The series began in 1997 with the release of All-Star Baseball '97 Featuring Frank Thomas, the successor to Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball. New York Yankees play-by-play announcers John Sterling and Michael Kay were the announcers for 1998-2000 editions of the game. The final release in the series (due to the bankruptcy of Acclaim) is All-Star Baseball 2005. Within the individual games, there are several different modes of play, such as exhibition, managing an existing Major League Baseball team or creating a team. Many North American cities are available for "expansion," in addition to Mexico City and Puerto Rico. Most of the games feature Derek Jeter on the cover.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion

Acclaim Studios Austin, Acclaim Entertainment

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion picks up where Turok 2: Seeds of Evil left off. Oblivion, a monstrous cosmic entity that consumed everything in its path and reigned before the birth of our universe is now invading the bodies of the living and devouring them from the inside-out. When the Primagen's Lightship was destroyed, the chain reaction it triggered as a result was so powerful that the universe as it existed was completely eradicated, and the almighty Oblivion was pushed to the very brink of destruction. For the first time, Oblivion felt pain, fear, and hate. Oblivion survived and now desperately seeks a means to punch through the Netherscape that separates our world from the Lost Lands. The last shreds of the pure energy source that created our world and nearly wiped out Oblivion are contained within the Light Burden, the bag that every member of the Turok lineage has carried. Unless Danielle and Joseph Fireseed, siblings that carry the title of Turok, can stop the death of the Turok mantle, it will signal the beginning of the end - the rebirth of Oblivion.

100 Bullets

Acclaim Studios Austin, D3Publisher of America, Inc., Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Acclaim Entertainment

Part hard-boiled crime story, part paranoid espionage thriller, 100 Bullets follows what happens when people from all walks of life meet Agent Graves, a mysterious figure who offers his "clients" the opportunity of a lifetime: an attache case containing the proof, the gun, and the carte blanche immunity to exact revenge on a person who's done them an irrevocable wrong. Based on the Brian Azzarello's Veritgo comic of the same name, 100 Bullets features an original story by Azzarelo himself, two playable characters, and fully interactive environments. This version of 100 Bullets was cancelled when Acclaim closed up shop, but a new game based on 100 Bullets was created for a 2007 release.
